Description

Woodbine Cottages is a house and cottage, now functioning as a single house, dating from around 1740, with later 20th-century additions and alterations. The building is constructed of coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and features stone slate roofs topped with three stone gable stacks. It has quoins and wooden gutters with brackets. The structure is two storeys high and has a three-window range.

The house, located on the right, includes two 2-light stone mullioned windows with rebated surrounds. Below these windows is a central 20th-century gabled porch, with a similar 2-light window to the left and a 3-light window to the right. To the right of the house is a late 20th-century single-storey addition designed to be sympathetic to the original style.

The lower two-storey cottage on the left features a single stone-mullioned 2-light window on each floor, with the lower window being larger. To the right of the cottage is a doorway with a stone lintel. At the rear, there are similar stone-mullioned windows, including a lower right window with three lights. The interior has not been inspected.
