Description
The Keeper's House adjoining Underbank Chapel is a mid-18th century house built of coursed, squared sandstone with ashlar quoins and a stone slate roof. It has a two-room plan and stands two storeys high. The central doorway is blocked and features a bonded ashlar surround with a deep lintel. There are two 2-light windows on each floor, all with square-faced surrounds, although the mullions have been removed, and they have casements with glazing bars. The house also displays moulded kneelers and gable copings, along with a corniced ashlar end stack on the left.
