Description
No. 301 Western Bank is a house that has been converted into offices, built around 1845 with 20th-century alterations. It features coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and an artificial slate roof, which has two rendered gable stacks and a single side wall stack. The building has a plinth, a first-floor band, and a moulded wooden eaves gutter. It is two storeys high and has a three-window range of 20th-century cross casements, with the central window framed by a pedimented moulded surround. The entrance has a pedimented doorcase supported by Doric columns, leading to a 19th-century half-glazed door with an overlight. On either side of the entrance, there is a cross casement window. The interior has not been inspected.
