Description
The Norfolk Arms Public House is a public house built around 1840, with additions and alterations made in the mid-20th century. It is constructed from coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and features stone slate roofs, including two gable stacks and a single side wall and rear wall stack. The building is designed in a crenellated Gothic style, characterized by a plinth and a crenellated parapet. It has two storeys and a three-window range, with a recessed centre containing a single window. The windows are renewed 2-light casements topped with unusual triangular gabled heads. Below the windows, there is a square flat-roofed 20th-century porch, flanked by two 20th-century 4-light casements. On either side of the porch, there are flat-roofed single-storey additions; the left addition has a 20th-century 4-light casement, while the right has a small mullioned window. The right return of the building features a recessed centre with three triangular-headed windows above. The interior has not been inspected.
