Description
A group of four houses, now three, dating from the late 18th century with alterations in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and a rendered right gable, and has a stone slate roof with two ridge stacks and a single gable stack, topped with coped gables. The property is two storeys plus a basement and attics, originally with a six-window front. The windows are predominantly early 19th century, with 3-light glazing bar casements. A tall glazing bar stair window is on the right-hand side. To its left, on the ground and first floors, are three windows of varying sizes, the lower left one being in an altered opening. To its right, on these floors, are single windows. Above them is a wooden gabled dormer with a small casement. To the right of the dormer is a window spanning both floors, with a smaller window above and a larger one below, the lower one in an altered opening. The basement has an off-centre buttress, with two 4-panel doors to its right and a 4-light casement and a 2-light casement to its left. The interior was not inspected.
