13/125 Bingley Seat 19/4/72 II

Farmhouse. C17. Thinly coursed sandstone, gritstone dressings, more deeply coursed wallstone to ends and rear. 3 -room plan, paired doorways to left indicate the combination of two dwellings, small wing to rear of right hand part. 2 storeys, 3 windows to first floor. Chamfered plinth, large quoins. A pair of doorways set to left with deep lintels and quoin reveals, all chamfered. Front windows all double-chamfered with slightly projecting sills, no mullions remain.C20 wood casements. 5-light window to left of doors, two 4-light windows to right. Continuous dripmould raised over doorways and dropped and returned at left-hand end. First floor windows all 5-lights. Ridge stack to partition wall set between doorways, another stack to right gable which also has copings and moulded kneelers. Mullioned windows to rear, also an unusual circular light to the first floor of the wing. Flat-roofed extension to left return not of special interest.
