Description

Bolsterstone stocks are a structure dating from the 18th or 19th century. They consist of gritstone posts with a fixed rail and a timber upper rail. The stocks feature two posts, one taller than the other, and have three pairs of notches. They are set within a later iron-railed enclosure in the center of the village.
