Description
15 Regent Terrace is a building in Sheffield that dates back to around 1820 and has been altered in the 20th century. It was originally constructed as workshops and is now used as a steeplejack's yard. The exterior features painted brick with ashlar dressings, some of which are also painted, and a slate roof with a single ridge and two capped gable stacks. The building has a plinth, wooden gutter, and brackets, along with a single coped gable.
It stands two storeys high and has an eight-window range of 12-pane sash windows. Below the windows, there is an off-centre doorcase flanked by pilasters and topped with a pediment, leading to a six-panel door with a blank overlight. On either side of the door, there are two 12-pane sashes, and to the left, there is a blocked doorway with a glazing bar overlight. All these features have moulded segmental heads and are linked by an impost band. Beyond this, there are flat-headed board doors with blocked overlights on either side. The interior has not been inspected.
