WALES MANOR ROAD (east side) Dovecote to rear of No 4 approximately 20 metres to north of house

GV II

Dovecote and stable. Late C18, altered. Rubble stone and brick, pantile roof 2 storeys, single-cell, rectangular. Lower part has quoined stonework and blocked central doorway with inserted board door in bonded ashlar surround to its left. Upper part is of brick with continuous ledge beneath central round-arched opening with remains of wooden pigeon holes in wooden boarding. Hipped roof with stone ridges. Interior: brick resting holes line upper storey. Included for group value. Attached outbuilding on right not of special interest.
