Description
The village stocks, dated 1786, are located approximately 15 metres to the west of the tower of the Church of St. Mary Magdalene. They are made of sandstone and consist of two tapered, square posts that are rebated for heavy moveable wooden boards, which have been renewed. The posts feature three pairs of notches and an old iron clasp, all of which are now protected by an iron cage. There is also a refixed stone bench at the rear, and the right post has a recut date.
