Description
No. 11 High Street is a mid-18th century house located on the south side of High Street in Laughton en-le-Morthen. It is constructed from squared, coursed magnesian limestone with a pantile roof. The house is two storeys high with three windows on the first floor. The central doorway has a 20th-century part-glazed door set within an ashlar surround, featuring a projecting keystone. The windows are three-light casements with projecting sills and flat arches incorporating keystones. The eaves are tabled and dentilled. The building has shaped kneelers and gable copings. Later brick end stacks are present, with the stack on the right shared with the adjacent property.
