Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1859, constructed from ashlar magnesian limestone with a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, featuring a double-depth plan with a rear range extending to the right. It has a chamfered plinth and quoins. The central entrance consists of a part-glazed door with an overlight, set in a chamfered, quoined surround with dripstones. On either side of the door are 3-light casements in bonded ashlar surrounds, also with dripstones.
On the first floor, there are 2-light casements with similar surrounds, and a central window with a dripstone set beneath a gable that has a recessed plaque inscribed 'A.D. / 1859'. The roof has two spans, and all gables feature shaped kneelers and moulded gable copings, with a finial on the front gable and a stack on the main ridge to the left, along with an end stack to the right. There is a wing set back on the right, which has a gable similar to the others and includes a stack. The left return of the building has two blocked 2-light windows beneath the plinth, with windows featuring dripstones on each floor and gable slits.
