Description

The gates and gate piers to the gardens of Brodsworth Hall, located approximately 270 metres to the north-east of the house, were likely built in the late 18th century for the Brodsworth Hall estate. They feature ashlar limestone piers and wrought-iron gates. The short square piers have moulded plinths and decorative festoons on both the front and rear faces, along with moulded cornices topped by large ball finials. The renewed gates include decorative lower panels and plain bars with finials, which are flanked by scrolled stiles.
