Description

Glebe Farmhouse is an early to mid-19th century farmhouse constructed of deeply-coursed, dressed limestone with a Welsh slate roof. It is two storeys high with a symmetrical front of three windows on the first floor. The central entrance has a four-panel door with an overlight featuring decorative, semicircular cast-iron glazing bars, set within a projecting ashlar surround with a cornice. Flanking the door are sash windows with glazing bars, each featuring projecting sills and square-faced surrounds; similar windows are present on the first floor. The farmhouse has deep eaves and a hipped roof with tabled end stacks, the stack on the right side being rendered. A two-bay return on the right side is constructed in the same style.
