Description
Skelbrooke Hall gate piers, including link walls, are probably from the late 18th century. They are made of sandstone ashlar for the piers and rubble walling for the link walls. There are two central gate piers, each featuring a plinth, a rusticated shaft, and a band both below and above a frieze block, topped with large ball finials. The link walls are concave, with coping that continues from the pier band. The end piers are rusticated, with the right one lacking a finial and the left one now rendered.
