Description
Wood End Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond, with a renewed tile roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring three windows on the first floor. The openings are segmentally arched, with a central door to the right of a three-light ascent. On the first floor, there is a two-light horizontally-sliding sash window above the door, a similar window to the right, and a later casement window beyond. The eaves are adorned with dentilled courses, and the gables have shaped kneelers and chamfered copings. A rebuilt ridge stack is located to the left. The left side of the building, facing the road, includes a French window, a tall window on the first floor, and an inserted attic window. There is a later wing at the rear, which is not of special interest.
