Description
The tower mill structure at The Mill is an early 19th-century building that has been altered in the 20th century. It is made of red brick with an English garden wall bond and features a slated roof. The mill has a five-storey truncated cone shape. On the east side, there is a doorway beneath a porch canopy, and above it are windows on four storeys, which have curved sills, flat arches with tile drip courses, and 20th-century casements. Similar windows are found on each side and at the rear of the building. A cogged band runs beneath the over-sailing parapet, and there is a glazed lantern at the roof apex. The original superstructure is no longer present, and attached buildings are not of special interest.
