Description
The gates and gatepiers to the gardens of Brodsworth Hall, located approximately 160 metres to the east-north-east of the house, are likely from the late 18th century, with a later gate added. They were constructed for the Brodsworth Hall estate and feature ashlar limestone piers and wrought-iron gates. The square piers have moulded plinths and festoons beneath moulded cornices, topped with large ball finials. The single iron gate has horizontal bars with cross braces and an emblem, while the top rail displays decorative scrollwork and a barbed finial.
