Description

Nos 1 and 1A on Castlegate are buildings from the 18th century or early 19th century, constructed from hammer-dressed limestone with a pantiled roof. They rise three storeys and feature four bays with cased sashes that have glazing bars. At the southern end, there is a segment-headed carriage arch.
