Description

Stocks located approximately 20 metres north of the Ring o' Bells Public House. The date of the original structure is uncertain, but it was restored in 1978-1979. The stocks consist of two square gritstone posts that are grooved to accommodate wooden rails. The wooden rails are from the 1978-1979 restoration. It is said that the taller of the two posts was used as a whipping post.
