Description
The Traviss graveslab, located approximately 15 metres south of the porch of the Church of All Saints, is a raised graveslab dating from the mid-18th century. It is made of sandstone and features a moulded edge with arched decoration at the top. The slab commemorates several individuals: John Traviss of Bargh, who died on 14th January 1741 at the age of 81; Rebbecca, the wife of Richard Traviss, who died in 1763 at the age of 74; Richard Traviss of Bargh, who died on 1st May 1764 at the age of 72; John Traviss, who died in 1771 at the age of 45; and Hannah, the wife of John Traviss, who died in 1822 at the age of 85.
