Description
The cross and shaft located in the churchyard approximately 10 metres south of the south porch of the Church of St. John is likely from the late medieval period. It is made of millstone grit and features a square cross base with chamfered corners. The shaft is also square and slightly chamfered, with a housing at the top that may have been intended for a sundial.
