Description

This is a grave slab located approximately 10 metres south of the east end of the nave of the Church of All Saints, aligned with the west end of the Parish Rooms. The slab dates from around 1672 and is made of simple sandstone, featuring arched decoration at the top. It commemorates "Natheneel son of Natheneel Moxson of Denby in the County of Darby," who died on 5th September 1672 at the age of 20 years. The slab also notes John Winter of Cawthorne, who died in 1748 at the age of 33 years.
