Description
This is a graveslab located approximately 15 metres southwest of the south porch of the Church of All Saints, dating from around 1689. It is made of sandstone and features relief edge decoration of flowers, along with incised decoration at the head. The lettering is well cut and is dedicated to John Brown of Kexbroug, who died on 16th June 1687 at the age of 66. There are 19th-century additions at the bottom of the stone. This graveslab is a good and well-preserved example.
