Description
The Hobson graveslab, located approximately 12 metres south of the porch of the Church of All Saints, is a mid-18th century sandstone slab. It features rounded decoration at the top and a moulding at the bottom. The slab has a well-lettered inscription commemorating Richard Hobson, a wheelwright from Kexbrough, who died on 21st March 1737 at the age of 49 years, as well as Mathew Ball of Kexbrough, who died in 1855.
