Description
Haigh Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, which was remodeled in the late 18th century. It is constructed from thinly coursed stone with ashlar dressings and features a stone slate roof with three ashlar stacks that have been heightened with red brick. The building has quoins and is two stories tall with a five-window facade. The single window to the south is now part of Haigh Hall. The off-centre doorway is covered by a large late 19th-century glazed porch, with two 12-pane glazing bar sash windows to the left and one similar window to the right. Above the doorway, there are four 12-pane glazing bar sashes. The rear wall still shows remnants of some late 17th-century chamfered mullion windows.
