Description
This is a cross base and shaft located approximately 20 metres south of the south aisle of the Church of All Saints. It is possibly of medieval origin and made from gritstone. The structure features a square base and a square shaft with stop-chamfered sides. The top of the shaft is marked and may have supported a sundial. It is inscribed on all four sides with the following: "TW" on the east side, "WC" on the north side, "RW" on the south side, and "1674" on the west side.
