Description

The wind pump located in the grounds of Lake Cottage is likely from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of pinkish-orange brick and features ashlar coping. The structure is circular in shape, tapering towards the neck before widening again. It has small openings and stands approximately 5 metres high. At the time of the re-survey, the sails were in the process of being renewed.
