Description

Blythe Farm is a house located on the south side of Wheldrake Main Street. It dates from the mid to late 18th century and has undergone later additions and alterations, including a range at the rear. The building is constructed of pinkish-orange brick and features a pantile roof. It stands two storeys high and has two first floor windows. The entrance is now centrally located and consists of a six-panel door beneath a 20th-century hood. There is also a further blocked entrance to the left. The property has casement windows throughout and a dentil eaves band, along with a ridge stack. Blythe Farm is included for its group value.
