Description
Stubb Mill is a windpump built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a cap made of corrugated iron. The mill stands three storeys tall, with a later addition of a fourth cylindrical storey on a tapering tower. It has segmental-headed windows spaced at intervals, each offset to the floor above, and all include glazing bars. There is a segmental doorway on the south side. To the west, there is a sluice and the remains of an external scoop wheel. The fan cradle is still intact. Inside, the mill retains its brakewheel, windshaft, upright shaft, and pitwheel.
