Description
Kerrison House is a house dating from the mid-18th century, which was enlarged and altered around 1800. It is constructed of flint with brick dressings and has a thatched roof. Originally, it was a three-bay, one-storey house with a dormer attic, but it has been heightened to two storeys, and an additional wide bay was added to the west. The original extent of the house is marked by quoins and stacks. The entrance features a half-glazed 20th-century door, flanked by one sash window on each side, both with glazing bars and gauged skewback arches. There is a string course at the first floor level, which has three similar sash windows. The roof is gabled and originally had internal gable end stacks. The new western bay is lit by a 20th-century ground floor casement and an upper sash window from around 1800, matching the others.
