Description
No. 11 Church Street is a house with a shop, built between 1836 and 1839, featuring an early 20th-century shopfront. The building is constructed of pink-grey brick in Flemish bond, topped with a hipped slate roof at the front.
The exterior consists of three storeys and has a two-window front. The shopfront is framed by sunk panel pilasters, with a plain fascia and a moulded cornice. To the left, there is a recessed glazed and panelled door next to a half canted window that is secured by a roller shutter. Adjacent to the entrance is a glass-fronted display case fixed to a panelled wall, and the entrance is closed off by a folding gate.
On the first floor, the windows are 12-pane sashes, while the second floor features one 8-pane sash. All windows have narrow painted sills and cambered brick arches above them. The building is finished with a moulded eaves cornice and a square funnel rainwater head located at the left end. The interior has not been inspected.
