Description
No. 7 Church Street is a house with a shop that dates from the mid-18th century and was refronted between 1836 and 1839. The shopfront was updated around 1960. The building is constructed of orange-brown brick in stretcher bond, with a later refronting in pink-grey brick in Flemish bond. It has a pantile roof with a brick chimney stack.
The exterior features three storeys and a one-window front. The shopfront includes a glazed door to the right of the window. The first-floor window is a 12-pane sash with slender glazing bars, while the second floor has two 12-pane sashes with heavy glazing bars, which are likely reused. All windows have painted stone sills and cambered brick arches. Additionally, there are circular tie rod plates on the first and second floors. The interior has not been inspected.
