Description

The Dovecote to Garden House is a structure dating from the early to mid-18th century, with 20th-century restoration. It is built from orange narrow hand-made brick and features a slate roof topped with a wooden cupola. The building is square in shape and has a central 20th-century wooden entrance, along with a casement window on the right side. The hipped roof culminates in a cupola that is surmounted by a 20th-century weathervane. Inside, the dovecote is lined with brick nesting boxes. It was originally associated with Fulford Hall.
