Description
The railings located approximately 6.5 metres from the southwest corner of the Assembly of God Pentecostal Church date back to around 1854. They consist of a wall, a terminal pier, and railings that enclose about 12 metres of the southwest side of the church's forecourt. The wall and pier are made of ashlar stone, while the railings are painted cast iron. The low wall is formed from ashlar blocks and serves as a base for the tapering octagonal railings and standards. The railings feature fleur-de-lys finials, and the standards have ball finials. The terminal pier on the right is rusticated and square in shape, standing on a high plinth with a projecting moulded cornice and a cross-pedimented cap.
