Description

Four houses were built in the mid-19th century on Mount Parade in York. They are constructed of brick with a slate roof. Each house has two storeys above cellars and one bay, with a doorway to the right. The windows are glazing bar sashes with brick flat arches, and the cellars are lit by casement windows. The pilaster doorcases feature mutuled cornices and panelled reveals. Numbers 12 and 13 have four-panel doors with overlights containing margin panes. Number 14 has a four-panel door and a plain overlight, while Number 15 has a 20th-century six-panel door and an overlight divided into four panes. A modillion cornice gutter runs along the top. Chimneys are situated between the houses and to the left. The interiors have not been inspected. The houses display group value.
