Description

Stanley House is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of rendered brick and features a 20th-century Roman tile roof. The house has a central hallway entry and a cross wing at the rear. It stands two storeys tall and has three bays. The entrance includes a six-fielded-panel door, with the upper four panels being glazed, and is topped by a fanlight within a fluted door-case that has a cornice supported by consoles. The windows are 16-pane sashes, except for the central sash on the first floor, which has glazing bars. The building also has a dentilled eaves course, gable coping, and a stack at the left end.
