Description
Osbaldwick Hall is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century, which was re-roofed in the 19th century and has a 20th-century extension. The building is constructed of brick in English bond and features a Welsh slate roof. It has a central hallway entry and is arranged with two rooms in depth over two storeys, comprising three bays with a single-storey extension to the right. The entrance includes a six-fielded-panel elliptical-arched door set within a lean-to porch, which has keyed round-arched recesses at the re-entrant angles. Throughout the house, there are 16-pane sash windows beneath stucco wedge lintels. Stacks rise through the pitch of the hipped roof to the right. The flat-roofed extension to the right is considered unsympathetic and is not of special interest.
