Description
The Ebor Inn is an inn dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations and additions from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of rendered and colourwashed brick and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has an L-shaped plan, with later infill that connects to an 18th-century stable block at the rear, and 20th-century outshuts at both the front and rear.
The inn is two storeys high and has four windows on the first floor. The entrance is located between the second and third windows, sheltered by a 20th-century porch. On the ground floor, there are two 16-pane sash windows and a tripartite bow window, which includes a central 20-pane unequally-hung sash flanked by 10-pane lights. The first floor features two 20-pane bow windows on the left and 16-pane sashes on the right. A wooden modillion eaves band runs along the top of the building, and there is a stack at both the end and rear, along with a tripartite sash window at the rear.
