Description
Brewster's Cottage and Brewhouse is a mid-18th century building that has been converted into a house. It features a 19th-century outshut on the right and some 20th-century alterations. The structure is made of pinkish-brown brick and has a plain tile roof. The former brewhouse is located on the left side of the building. It is two storeys high and has three windows on the first floor. There are entrances at each end, with a segmental arch of gauged brick on the left and an elliptical arch on the right.
The ground floor includes a four-pane sash window and a 20th-century casement window, both set under elliptical arches, as well as a small inserted 20th-century casement window under a header arch. A three-course band runs along the first floor. On the first floor, there is an opening with a six-pane sash window under an elliptical arch, and another six-pane sash window under a cambered arch. The building has a stepped eaves band and a flipped roof with a central stack.
