Description

Nos. 12, 14, and 16 Spurriergate is a house with a shop, built around 1841 and later altered, including a 20th-century shopfront. The building is constructed of painted brick in Flemish bond, featuring a timber moulded eaves cornice, a brick stack, and a slate roof.

The exterior has a four-storey, two-window front. The shop windows are set back behind a pilaster and cornice shopfront. The windows throughout the building are sashes: the first floor has single-paned windows, the second floor has 12-paned windows, and the third floor has 9-paned windows. All windows have painted sills and flat arches. The interior has not been inspected.
