Description
Belvoir House is a house and former barn that is now partly incorporated into the house. It dates from the mid to late 18th century and has undergone later alterations and additions, including an extension to the left. The building is constructed of pinkish-orange brick and features a pantile roof.
The house is two storeys high and has three bays. There are three steps leading up to the central entrance, which contains a 20th-century door with a divided overlight. Throughout the house, there are 16-pane sash windows with 20th-century slatted shutters. A single course band runs along the first floor, and there is a dentilled eaves cornice. The house has end stacks and a band on the left gable.
The barn section includes an 18-pane sash window on the ground floor and a further blocked opening. There are two openings on the first floor, which have slatted wooden covers.
