Description

Spring Cottage is a house dating from the early to mid 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings and a stack, and it has been colour-washed. The roof is covered with pantiles. The house features a two-room central lobby-entry plan and is a single storey with an attic, having two windows. It has quoins, a boarded door, and 20th-century plate-glass sliding sashes set beneath segmental brick arches. The axial stack, which was rebuilt in the 19th to 20th century, is located in the center. There are 12-pane attic sliding sashes on both the left and right returns.
