Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century to the early 18th century, with later dormers added. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings and stacks, topped by a pantile roof. The building has a plan consisting of three rooms with an entrance on the left side. It is a single storey with an attic and features three windows. The entrance consists of a boarded door with an upper glazed panel, flanked by a single 12-pane sash window to the left and two similar sashes to the right. All openings are adorned with segmental header arches. There are two 20th-century gabled dormers, an axial stack on the right, and an end stack on the left. Inside, the Cottage features beam ceilings.
