Description

The Kitlings is a house dating from the 17th to early 18th century, with 19th-century chimney stacks and 20th-century alterations and rear extensions. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, with a colour-washed finish, and has brick chimney stacks. The roof is covered in pantiles. The original layout consisted of two rooms with a central entrance. It is a single-storey house with an attic, featuring two windows. A half-glazed door is located centrally, flanked by 12-pane sliding sash windows, all set beneath timber lintels. There is an external end stack to the right and another to the left. The interior includes an inglenook fireplace and beamed ceilings.
