Description

27 and 28 Market Place is an early 19th-century building that stands three stories tall, constructed of pale brick with a Welsh slate roof featuring stone-coped gable ends and a wooden eaves cornice. The façade includes ten hung sash windows with glazing bars, adorned with stucco lintels and bands at the cills. The ground floor features a bank shop front with four windows on the left side and a modern shop front on the right, adjacent to a central passage archway that has a cast iron balcony above. This building, along with Nos 27 to 29, forms a cohesive group.
