Description
No. 101 on Park Street is a house dating from the 17th century, which was raised in the mid to late 18th century and underwent alterations in 1979. The building is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings and stacks, while the stacks and the right gable-end are rendered. It features a pantile roof and has a three-room plan with a lobby entry located to the left of the center. The house is a single storey with an attic and has three windows. The entrance consists of a 20th-century six-panelled door, and there are 12-pane sliding sash windows beneath rendered flat arches. The eaves cornice is stepped and dentilled in brick. There are two raking dormers with casement windows, and the gables show tumbled-in brick with stone coping and shaped kneelers. Inside, the house has beamed ceilings. The property is included for its group value.
