Description

This house, now used as offices, was built around 1830 and altered in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of stucco with a slate roof and a single ridge stack. The exterior features channelled rusticated detailing on the ground floor, a first-floor sill band, and a moulded eaves cornice. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window facade. The upper windows are segment-headed 16-pane sashes with moulded surrounds. The ground floor includes a shallow stucco portico with Tuscan columns and a cornice. A half-glazed four-panel door with a fanlight is set within the portico. To the right of the door is a segment-headed 20-pane sash with a moulded surround and cornice featuring scroll brackets. The building has group value, contributing to the character of the area.
