Description

This is a house, dating to circa 1820, which is now used as an art gallery. It has undergone alterations in the late 19th century and late 20th century. The exterior is rusticated stucco with a concrete tile roof, coped gables, and a single gable stack. It features dentilated wooden eaves and a first-floor sill band. The building is three storeys high with a two-window facade. The upper floors have plain sash windows with moulded surrounds, and the top floor has two smaller plain sashes. The ground floor has a late 19th-century tripartite shop window with lattice-glazed toplights, set beneath a dentillated cornice. To the right is a late 20th-century entrance consisting of steps with wrought-iron balustrades leading to a glazed door.
