Description

The quadrant wall attached to the southeast angle of Buckton Hall dates from 1744 and is constructed of chalk ashlar with moulded stone coping and stone dressings. The wall is curved in plan and features one doorway with a flat head, a fanned keyblock, and a Gibbs surround. The wall is terminated by a rusticated quoin from the former pavilion. This structure is included partly for its group value with Buckton Hall.
